A new Final Fantasy XIV expansion dubbed Shadowbringers was announced today at Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival. The new content is scheduled for a summer 2019 release and will also include multiple new jobs as well as increased level cap.

Yeah I should have been more clear about that, That's my bad I just assumed he already had the expansion on console lol Uh, you seem to have missed my point a little.If you have Heavensward on PS4 and you decide to buy the base game without the expansion on PC, you can still log in with your characters on PC as long as they logged out in a non-HW area.You can still use classes that're above lvl 51 on the pc without owning HW, but you can't gain exp above 50 (i.e. If you switch to a lvl 55 class it'll be treated as the lvl cap and you'll gain 0 exp, preventing you reaching lvl 56).You can switch to the 3 HW Jobs if you've already unlocked them on the ps4.You can't access any HW area or duty.To put it simply, you have limited access to a small handful of HW's features. Roughly the same restrictions will be in place for Stormblood once it launches.
